My name is Trinity, I am a friend of Melinda (fabtwin) and Ryan Star's ; ). I am known as mystixmind on the net and Rockband; however, I lurk more than anything and have only posted a few times.

I just saw Blue October for the second time in about two months time and if they were playing a show here tomorrow I'd be there in a heart beat. I even got my boyfriend loving them. OMG – this band's music is so moving!! I LOVE every song on Foiled but I believe 18th Floor Balcony is the most beautiful song I've heard in awhile. Since I uploaded the album into my Ipod I find myself putting it on repeat and falling asleep to thier music.

I didn't make it to Ryan's San Diego show because of family commitments; however, was at both the Anahiem & Sunset HOB shows and the man is amazing!! Glad you were able to see him and experience his intensity in person.

I like the Killers as a casual fan as well and had the privelege of seeing them perform at a local radio station's summer concert festival. I would definetly see them again but they did not move my soul the way Ryan and Blue October have. Looks like we have some similarities in our musical persuasions.

I am so thrilled to read your review of Blue October! I have yet to see them live but have all their CDs after hearing Hate Me earlier this year and checking into their music. I can say that I love all of their CDs, each in a different way. Squee for you and your experience. Thanks for sharing it! I'm a casual Killers fan so I can't comment on them, but I can be ridiculously overjoyed that you're a Blue convert! :)
