Skagit Valley Glory
I went up to Skagit Valley this past Sunday…the annual Tulip Festival is there every April…and it was gorgeous!
It really is such a lovely area…the buildings, the landscapes…the fields of COLOR…the light glinting off the raindrops that befell the petals, simply beautiful!
Of course…though, there is always, ALWAYS humor to be found:)

But alas, to the beauty…the Glistening…tulips…

My Kit with a side of Holga 120
Just picked up 2 new lenses to round out my current kit for my XTi…
Got the 10-22mm 3.5/4.5 wide angle zoom, and the 100mm 2.0 medium tele…
Walked it through town today, and will take it up to the Tulip Festival tomorrow…
One can only ponder what I will get…we have been getting teased with snow and hail lately………IN SEATTLE!!! lol…in APRIL!?!?! wtf?!?!
Oh, and while at the camera shop, picked up one of those plastic Holga’s to shoot some 120film with…we will see….might take a couple weeks before we see the results of this! I am trying lots of multiple exposure ‘art’ stuff with it…lmao…one can only imagine the troubled messes of images I am creating!

So I think the blossoms are starting to wan, and I just wanted to get a few more…and I wanted to shoot some with better ISO settings for better quality at high resolution so…I ran out this AM and clicked again:)
…See the petals laying on the ground…pretty soon…this is where they will all be……..

Just out my door…
Can you believe right across the street from my house…so pretty…I had to run in and grab the camera…funny bit…at the same time, the fire department was blocking the road because a car had caught on fire! lol…City life:)
